2023 Spring Prompt

Resurrection…once dead, now alive.

• Who’s come back though? A loved one? An enemy? How did they come back?
• Maybe it’s not even a “who”, but a “what”–like a pet.
• What if what’s revived isn’t corporeal. Maybe it’s a relationship…a risky business…a renewed determination.
• Will there be zombies? Will those zombies be mindless, flesh eaters? Or will they have an agenda? 
• Wonder what else could be resurrected… wonder if nothing is resurrected at all in your story–maybe it takes place on a religious holiday that celebrates resurrection, like Easter…
• Maybe someone will try anything to resurrect a loved one. What would you do? What wouldn’t you do?
• Get creative, be bold, and write!
